FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – University of Missouri track and field saw two of its’ student-athletes punch their tickets to the NCAA Championships on the final day of competition at the NCAA West Prelims. Up next, the NCAA Championships will be held June 8-11 at Oregon’s Hayward Field.
Finishing fifth, Mara Häusler matched her personal best in the triple jump with a leap of 13.56m / 44-6. Arianna Fisher finished tied for seventh with a season-best mark of 13.42m / 44-0.5. Häusler will compete in the NCAA meet for the second time in her career, both outdoors, while Fisher is now a four-time national qualifier (twice outdoors).
Also in the triple jump, Mirieli Santos finished 19th (12.99m / 42-7.5) and Euphenie Andre jumped a personal best of 12.90m / 42-4 to finish 20th.
Claudina Diaz finished tied for 24th in the jump with a clearance of 1.71m / 5-7.25. Melissa Menghini clocked a 10:50.03 in the 3,000m steeplechase to finish 39th.
