Crews are battling a brush fire in the Angeles National Forest after a vehicle caught fire near the Antelope Valley.
The blaze was reported about 2 p.m. in the area of Bouquet Canyon and Spunky Canyon roads, according to the California Highway Patrol.
It had burned about 25 to 30 acres by 3 p.m., according to the Angeles National Forest.
The fire from the vehicle spread to brush in the area. The overturned and burned vehicle could be seen near where the blaze apparently began, aerial video from Sky5 showed.
The blaze is near the Bouquet Reservoir and was burning uphill from Martindale Truck Trail Martindale Truck Trail, forest officials said.
At least three helicopters were making water and retardant drops on the blaze, the aerial video showed. The Los Angeles County Fire Department also responded to the blaze.
At least one lane of the roadway was blocked while crews were battling the blaze.
It is about 74 degrees in the area where the fire is burning and winds are gusting at 15 mph, according to the National Weather Service.
